Blackpool Transport Palladium Launch

The new Palladium service will begin to operate on service 5 from Sunday 31st May 2015.  This investment is the start of a  future for Blackpool Transport with an investment of £1.7 million on new new vehicles.

The new Citaro's will be on service with route 5, from Sunday 31st May. There is only a small change to the route, with it no longer operating down Lindale Gardens. They new run from Halfway house via Squires Gate Lane, Common Edge Road and Highfield Road.


At South Shore the Southbound service 5 buses will no longer use the first bus stop on Lytham Road (opposite the Royal Oak).  Service 5 will now use the bus stop approx., 25 yards Southbound (opposite Rawcliffe Street)

Citaro 551 was placed in St. John's Square on the 22nd May 2015, open to customers to have a look around, even Heat radio was on sight.
